ORIGAMI is a European research project developing intelligent drone swarms that can operate reliably in complex and challenging environments where satellite navigation and communications are disrupted or unavailable. By combining advanced sensing, onboard autonomy, and secure cooperation between multiple drones, ORIGAMI enables teams of drones to explore, monitor, and support missions with minimal human intervention. The project focuses on improving safety, resilience, and human control, with applications in defence, security, and crisis response.
